About

In Latin America, the street speaks a language.

It is unfiltered, candid, emotional.

The spectrum of typology is vast, ranging from indecipherable scribbles to seriously developed works of art portraying mythical figures, revolutionary martyrs, modern day hero's and idiosyncratic memes. It endeavors to speak of the human condition in real time within a space that’s continually shouted down by a foreign noise propagandizing the viewer to obey, consume and believe.

On these streets, the language is rooted in truth.

My work is an interpretation of this language - with a foreign lens. I focus on the aesthetic, the culture, its roots and the message.

My pallet - photographic images of eroded paint, graffiti and wall art collected within urban barrios along a spontaneous route of travel.
